COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A MOBILE HAND HELD SCANNER AND A PC

Datalogic has created the SD9030 dongle for Datalogic's STAR Cordless Systems. The compact sized receiver allows communication between a PowerScan™ PM9X00 with any host equipped with a USB port.

When paired with a PM9XXX reader, the SD9030 dongle acts as a base station by providing USB communication to the host and implementing all the features of the Datalogic's proprietary STAR 2.0 radio system. This allows bidirectional communication and provides the ability to link more scanners to the same dongle. With its universal bracket and reduced dimensions, it can be easily installed on any kind of support system. The SD9030 dongle is the ideal product for all applications with limited space to install a cradle.

CONNECT YOUR VEHICLE MOUNT COMPUTER USING THE SD9030 DONGLE

The typical application of the SD9030 dongle is in combination with a Vehicle Mount Computer for logistics and intralogistics applications where the dongle is installed on a forklift.

The SD9030 dongle is available in both frequencies of the STAR 2.0 Radio System (433 and 910 MHz). A USB extension cable is also available as an accessory whenever a longer distance is required from the host.

SOFTWARE SUPPORT

The SD9030 dongle is supported by Datalogic's Aladdin™ software for the configuration of the dongle and of the linked devices.
